General Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Conclusion of the Online Contract

These terms of sale are intended to define the contractual relationship between “So Wood” and the buyer and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the website sowoodkombucha.com. Purchasing a product via this site implies the buyer’s unreserved acceptance of these terms of sale, which the buyer acknowledges having read prior to placing an order. Before any transaction, the buyer declares, on the one hand, that the purchase of products on the sowoodkombucha.com website is not directly related to their professional activity and is limited to strictly personal use, and on the other hand, that they have full legal capacity to commit under these general terms and conditions of sale.

The company “So Wood” reserves the right to modify these terms of sale at any time in order to comply with new regulations or to improve the website’s usability. Therefore, the applicable conditions will be those in effect on the date of the buyer’s order.

Article 2: Payment Methods

Before placing an order, the buyer is not required to create an account on the sowoodkombucha.com website. However, creating an account is recommended to facilitate order tracking, consult their profile, and access their order history. The account creation section is directly accessible from the main menu. During each visit, the buyer can log in with their information to place an order or view their account. The company “So Wood Kombucha” offers the buyer the following payment options to order and pay for products:

Article 3: Delivery (Timeframe, Methods, Costs, Geographical Area)

Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form and are limited to Belgium. Orders are shipped via BPost with tracking and delivery without signature.

Delivery timeframe: Between lorem ipsum business days (indicative only).

Delivery costs: lorem ipsum for home delivery or pick-up at a relay point. Delivery is free for orders over €50.

The buyer will receive a tracking number for their parcel by email. In case of absence during delivery, a notice will be left allowing the buyer to pick up the products at the nearest relay point or post office.

The risks related to transport are transferred to the buyer as soon as the products leave the premises of So Wood Kombucha. The buyer must check the condition of the packaging and contents upon receipt, in the presence of the delivery person.

Article 4: Transfer of Ownership and Risk

Products remain the property of So Wood Kombucha until full payment of their price. However, the risks related to the goods are transferred to the buyer once they are handed over to the carrier.

Article 5: Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods such as our kombuchas. Due to their living nature and strict cold storage requirements, these products cannot be returned or exchanged, except in cases of defects or proven errors in the order.

If there is an issue with your order: If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt, providing:

A description of the issue. Photos of the product and packaging, if damaged. Your order number. We will review your request and, if justified, proceed with a replacement or refund based on the circumstances.

Article 6: Legal Warranty

All our products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity and protection against hidden defects. We guarantee that our beverages conform to their description and are free from defects for a period of two years.

In case of an issue, the buyer may request a replacement or refund in accordance with the legal warranty.
